School Introduction
Toyo Junior High School is Toyohashi's 21nd junior high school built in the east side of the city (near Shizuoka Prefecture). The school district was opened because of fast residential developement. Near the school, there are mountains, lakes, fields, and a lot of nature still remains. Also, Imo Bog, a prefectural natural wonder, is near Toyo, too.
In recent years, the number of foreigners living in this area has been increasing. There are more than 70 foreign students attending school at Toyo. Because there are so many foreign students, we have a variety of cultures and we all hope to study and learn, happily together.
The symbol to the left is Toyo's school emblem, which shows the mountains and flowers blooming in Imo Bog and Yumihari Mountains.
